What is your primary product or service?
Dog walking, cat sitting, parrot sittng and grooming, medical care for pets, overnight care and general pet care in our clients homes. We specialize in multiple pet homes, but provide care to any and all pets in their own home while they travel. Home care with or without pets. Pet transportation.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Amy has worked her entire life with animals. In 1991 she was working for Dr William Gardner of Woodlake vet Clinic here in Lakewood as an Vet assistant. He encouraged her to start Unique Pet Care. After strating the business her husband Paul Lameris joined her. They have continued to provide this service. At 18 her daughter, Aryn Johnson joined the service.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Amy and Paul has had pets of all kinds and have been on the front lines of pet care by working closely with Veterinarians since the age of 12 . Amy has been a cat and dog breeder and done field trial dog training. They are a parrot owner and have worked in parrot rescue.
