Handyman Matters has serviced Jefferson, Arapahoe and Douglas County for 12.5 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our Craftsmen complete full home remodeling to a immediate repair and maintenance in the home and office. Handyman Matter also does commercial, retail maintenance and repairs.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Finding dependable Craftsmen who arrived on time and completed the project timely was troublesome. When this franchise opportunity became available, we saw the potential to meet home and business owners' need for a professional Craftsman to complete their projects.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Handyman Matters schedules specific times for the appointment. We complete background checks on each employee and have them complete a 120 point skills assessment so that we dispatch a skilled Craftsman for that specific job.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently operate two franchises in Colorado. Handyman Matters has 12 employees skilled in a variety of trades.

Our Craftsmen service Jefferson County south of 6th Avenue and all of Douglas County and Southeast Arapahoe County.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Glenn and Sandy Garvey are a husband and wife team that own and runs the daily office and field operations
What are your hours of operation?
We operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and with special arrangement, occasional weekend hours
